Robert ‘Howard’ Danks, 104, of Lewisburg, died on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Creekwood Place in Russellville.
He was born on Monday, Feb. 12, 1912 in Logan County. He was the son of the late James Danks and the late Pearl Whitson Danks. He was the husband of the late Fannie Porter Danks.
He was a farmer, a member of Beechland Baptist Church, a former Logan County Magistrate, member of the Lewisburg Masonic Lodge and the Coonrange Fish & Game Club.
Surviving are his son, Michael Danks of Bowling Green; his daughters, Brenda Miles (Charles) of Russellville, and Roberta Johnson (Troy) of Bowling Green; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery.
