Judy Bailey Belt, 64, of North Main Street, Russellville, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016 at her home. She was a Logan County native, born April 6, 1952 to the late John Weldon Bailey and Ruth Irene Costello Bailey. She was the office manager for Doctors Pathak and Pathak Associates. She was a member of Greater Life Apostolic Church in Springfield, Tenn., where she served as First Lady, as well as minister of music.
She is survived by her husband ~ Melvin Belt Jr.; her son~ Walter Melvin “Chip” Belt, III ~ Clarksville; her daughter ~ Kristy Lynn Lacy-Howard and husband George Herman Howard ~ Clarksville; and her grandchildren ~ Jon Lucas Lacy, Nathaniel Wayne Lacy, Katie Lynn Marie Lacy, Noah London Williams, George Herman Howard IV, Kiaana Howard and J’Nae Howard
She was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Weldon Bailey.
Funeral services for Judy Bailey Belt will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016 at the United Pentecostal Church with Minister Andrea Satchell and Minister Kevin Holley officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the church will be held Friday, Aug. 12, from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service hour of 11 a.m.
