June Lyne Robinson, 75, of Sycamore Drive, Russellville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was a Logan County native, born May 22, 1941 to the late James Lyne and Lucy Linton Locke. She was an educator with the Logan County School System. She received her Masters degree in English from Western Kentucky University, was a chairperson for the Democratic Women for eight years and was an avid UK fan.
She is survived by her step-daughters ~ Stacy Smith ~ California, and Stephanie Nichols ~ California; her sister-in-law ~ Laura Lyne; three nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services for June Carolyne Robinson will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Rev. Dann Masden officiating. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Thursday from 2 p.m. until the service hour of 4 p.m.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Arthritis Foundation.
