Louise Stokes, age 81 of Peveler Drive, Russellville, Kentucky passed away February 12, 2014 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was a Logan County native, born May 15, 1932 to the late Charles Gibbs and Mollie Marie Jones Gibbs. She was a cashier for Houchens Industries, UK Wildcat basketball fan and a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Stokes.

Funeral services for Louise Stokes will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Thompson and Bro. Buddy Crabtree officiating with burial in the Russellville Memorial Gardens. Visitation at the funeral home will be Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Sunday until the funeral hour of 2:00 pm.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Hospice of Southern Kentucky. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
