Dorothy Evelyn Logsdon, 93, of Springfield, Tenn. died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, at Spring Meadows Health Care Center in Clarksville, Tenn.
Born Sunday, Oct. 22, 1922 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Lee Shoemaker and the late Eunice Coursey Shoemaker. She was the wife of the late James Logsdon.
She was self-employed, a member of the Lewisburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and also a member of the Lewisburg Eastern Star.
Surviving are her sons, Vance Logsdon of Lewisburg and Brett Logsdon of Arab, Ala.; her daughter, Sabrina Potter of Clarksville; her sisters, Elnora Crawford of Dayton, Ohio, Ruby Porter of Lewisburg, and Shirley Perry of Louisville; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Roddy Logsdon, and her daughter, Janet Angles Stinson.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, with the Rev. Edward Colf officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg.
The family will receive friends after 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
