Lillie Mae Pearson Clark, 100, of Madisonville, formerly of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016 at the Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville. She was born in Parsons, Tenn. on May 3, 1916 to the late John G. Pearson and Alvie Ann Britt Pearson. She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Clark; her daughter, Lillian Katherine Clark Law and son-in-law Rev. William Thomas Law; her son, Paul Edwin Clark and daughter-in-law, Frances Fulkerson Clark; her great-great-grandson, Braxton Cole Fizer; her granddaughters, Cindy Clark Minton and Gayla Denise Law Marcantel; her brothers, Guy, Eugene and James Pearson; and her sister, Louvella Pearson Law.
She is survived by 7 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members, as well as a host of friends.
Funeral services for Lillie Mae Pearson Clark will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016 at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Rev. Leeburn Clark, Rev. Don Durbin, Pastor Danny G. Johnson and Pastor E. Wayne Law officiating with burial to follow in Red Oak Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8, from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until the service hour of 2 p.m.
