Mildred Elizabeth Dorris, 96, of Dunmor, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at Greenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bowling Green.
She was born Wednesday, May 19, 1920 in Dunmor. She was the daughter of the late James Simmons and the late Henrietta Kennerly Simmons. She was the wife of the late James Dorris.
She was a seamstress at Red Kap Industries and a member of Dunmor Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Joetta Dempsey of Bowling Green; her grandchildren, John and Jeff Dempsey of Bowling Green; and four great-grandchildren. Also, two special families are the Gary Gibson Family and the Dwight Obenchain Family.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg with the Rev. Jeremy Whitney officiating. Interment will be in Dunmor Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 14, at Price Funeral Home.
