Darrell Lee Boatwright, 74, of Dunmor, died on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016, at the Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville.
He was born Tuesday, June 9, 1942 in Beech Creek, the son of the late Albert Boatwright and the late Adell Wood Boatwright. He was the husband of Josie Smith Boatwright of Dunmor, who survives.
He was retired from maintenance at Emerson Electric, a member of the Beech Creek Pentecostal Church and the NRA.
Also surviving are his son, Daniel Boatwright Sr. of Dunmor; his brother, Albert Boatwright of Dunmor; his sister, Wilma Brooks of Greenville; and his grandchildren, Antonio Boatwright, Daniel Boatwright Jr. and Jacob Boatwright, all of Dunmor.
He was predeceased by his son, Stephen Lee Boatwright.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, with Bro. Roy Loney officiating. Interment will be in Hughes Cemetery, Dunmor.
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
