Wanda Gaye Westray Farmer, 76, of Morgantown Road, Russellville, passed away Friday, Dec. 2, 2016 at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab in Russellville. She was a Logan County native, born Sept. 7, 1940 to the late George Edgar Thomas Westray and Geneva Ray Westray. She was a home health care nurse, member of Concord Baptist Church, and loved crocheting and cross word puzzles. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyce Alford Farmer. 

She is survived by her son ~ Jeff Blick and wife Janice ~ Auburn; her daughter ~ Joy Dukes ~ Russellville; her brother ~ Tommy Westray ~ Russellville; her sisters ~ Joyce Hooper and Rene’ Forgy ~ both of Russellville, and Lucretia Dyer ~ Lewisburg; and four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Wanda Gaye Westray Farmer will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Tony McAllister and Bro. Richard Allen officiating. Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday will be held from noon until the service hour of 3 p.m.
