Bobby Morgan Sr., 86, of the Orndorff Mill Road, Russellville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016 at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab Center.  He was a Logan County native, born Sept. 30, 1930 to the late Theodore Morgan and Lorena Williams Morgan.

He was a farmer and worked for Crop Production for a number of years. He was a member of Red Oak Grove United Methodist Church for 86 years where he served as song leader, Administrative Board chair, choir member and groundskeeper for the church grounds as well as the church cemetery. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a UK fan.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Joyce Russell Morgan; his sons ~ Phil Morgan, Kenny Morgan and wife Annabelle, and David Morgan and wife Joyce Ann ~ all of Russellville; his daughter ~ Pam Morgan ~ Russellville; his brother ~ Marion Morgan ~ Madisonville; his sisters ~ Joan Morgan Croslin ~ Russellville and Virginia Hale ~ Murray; his brother-in-law ~ George Hunt ~ Morrisville, N.C.; his brother- and sister-in-law ~ Eddie and Jo Ann Russell ~ Russellville; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Bobby Morgan Sr. will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at Red Oak Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Allen Basinger and Bro. Randy Richardson officiating, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation at the church will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday morning and will continue until the service hour at 2 p.m.

Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to Red Oak Grove Cemetery.  Envelopes will be available at the Church.

Food may be taken to the church after 9:00 am on Tuesday.
