Virginia Lloyd, 96, of Adairville, passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 at Signature Health Care in Bowling Green. She was born July 24, 1920 to the late Zelma Bowling Lawrence and Mary Elizabeth Hill Lawrence. She was a homemaker and a member of the Adairville Baptist Church since 1921.
She is survived by her nephews ~ Rhett Lawrence and wife Vickie ~ Bowling Green, and Gregg Lawrence ~ Franklin; four great-nephews ~ Marcus, Nathan, Justin and Wade; several great-great-nieces and nephews; and her sister-in-law ~ Marye Jane Lawrence ~ Orlinda, Tenn.
Graveside Services for Virginia Lloyd will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 2, at Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville, with Bro. Michael Edwards, Bro. Carl Freudenthal and Nathan Lawrence officiating. There will be no public visitation prior to the graveside service.
Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Adairville Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery.
