Clarence Morton Sharp, 88, of the Deerlick Road, Lewisburg, died on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017, at the Hospice House of Southern KY in Bowling Green.

He was born Monday, March 5, 1928 in Lewisburg, the son of the late Henry Cornelious Sharp and the late Minnie Baugh Sharp. He was the husband of the late Glena June Slaughter Sharp.

He had been a farmer and barber at the Hotel Barber Shop in Elkton.

He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Clifty and served in the Army as a Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion.

Surviving are his son, DeWayne Sharp - (Rebecca) of Lewisburg; his daughters, Sheila Higgins- (William) of Bowling Green, Sandra Crafton - (Jerry) of Lewisburg, and Sherry Hoots - (Charles) of Russellville; his sister, Clydia Smith of Joelton; his grandchildren, Lora Jenkins of Russellville, Brandon Higgins and Dustin Higgins, both of Bowling Green, and Jason Crafton of Lewisburg; his great-grandchildren, Emma Jenkins and Lydia Jenkins, both of Russellville, and Adalyn Crafton, Kayley Higgins and Elizabeth Higgins all of Bowling Green; his sister-in-law, Irene Slaughter Wilson of Clifty; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, with Bro. David Morgan officiating. Interment will be in Slaughters Cemetery, Todd County.

The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at Price Funeral Home.
