Everette Noram Head, 90, of Lewisburg Road, Russellville, passed away Monday, Jan. 16, 2017 at Hearthstone Place in Elkton, Kentucky. He was a Logan County native, born June 2, 1926 to the late James Everette Head and Nora Duncan Head. He was an engineer with L&N Railroad and a farmer. He was a US Army veteran in WWII and a member of Kedron Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae Corum Head.
He is survived by his sons ~ Danny Head and wife Lynn and Jim Head ~ all of Russellville; his daughter ~ Susie Barr and husband Tim ~ Russellville; his grandchildren ~ Laura Lynn Head, Courtney Head Heatherly and Justin Barr; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services for Everette Noram Head will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Don E. White and Bro. David Morgan officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 18, from 5-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 8 a.m. until the funeral hour of 2 p.m.
