Wayne Miles, 64, of Hopkinsville, formerly of Russellville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017. He was a Logan County native, born Jan. 13, 1953 to the late John Albert Miles, Jr. and Velma Louise Richardson Miles. He was a self-employed carpenter and a U.S. Navy veteran. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Miles.
He is survived by his sons ~ Jeremy Wayne Miles and wife Samantha ~ Louisville, and Wesley Miles ~ Richmond; his daughter ~ Savannah Reeves and husband Matt ~ Auburn; his sisters ~ Barbara Biggs ~ Nashville, Teresa Damon ~ St. Peters and Charlene Conger and husband Lewis ~ Russellville; and his grandchildren.
Graveside services for Wayne Miles will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, at the Russellville Memorial Gardens with Bro. Marvin Stratton officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.
