Imogene Hite, 91, of Campground Road, Russellville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017 at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville. She was a Logan County nativ, born April 4, 1925 to the late Marion Ross Maxwell and Anna Tynes Maxwell. She was a homemaker and attended Crittenden Drive Church of Christ and Bethany Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Q. Hite Jr., her daughter, Jeannie Hite Jordan and her brother, John W. Maxwell.

She is survived by her sons ~ John Q. Hite III and wife Jan ~ Searcy, Ark. and Joseph Hunter Hite and wife Ashley ~ Winchester, Tenn.; her daughter ~ Jana Hite Rice and husband Gary ~ Abilene, Texas; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Imogene Hite will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017 at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Roney and Bro. Harris Dockins officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Friday, Feb. 17, from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until the service hour of 2 p.m. 

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Logan County Public Library or The Turtle Fund in care of Crittenden Drive Church of Christ.

Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
