Kenneth Darrel Moore, 79, of Deerlick, died on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at Western State Hospital in Hopkinsville.

He was born Friday, March 19, 1937 in Browder, the son of the late Charlie Loyd Moore and the late Hazel Carrie Whittinghill Moore.

He was formerly employed by Hinton Lumber Co. He was a member of Pleasant Union General Baptist Church.

Surviving are his brothers, Loyd Moore - (Linda) of Belton, and Robert (Bob) W. Moore - (Betty) of Lewisburg.; his nieces: Melanie Moore of Nashville, Cheryl Taylor of Russellville, Sharon Sue Willis-(John) of Clarksville, Tammy Hall-(Tim) of Auburn, Mitzi McIntosh-(Bob) of Dayton, Ohio, Penny Saddler-(Steve) of Russellville, Mary Roberts of Russellville, Lisa Husk-(Dennis) of Hawesville, and Lena Reyes-(Auturo) of Louisville; his nephews: Greg Moore-(Daphne) of Madisonville, Mitchell Moore-(Pam) of Lewisburg, Charles Moore-(Hope) of Russellville, Michael Moore-(Angie) of Mason Ohio, Donnie Moore of Pineapple, Ala., Jeff Moore-(Phyllis) of Franklin, Tenn., Bobby Moore of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Jimmy Dunn of Edinburgh, Ind., Jerry Crafton-(Sandy) Lewisburg, and Ralph Crafton-(Claudia) of Lewisburg.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Raymond Moore, James Moore, Glen Moore and Dalton Moore, and his sisters, Catherine Crafton and Helen Davis.

A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Pleasant Union General Baptist Church,located at 5529 Deerlick Rd. Lewisburg, with the Rev. Earl Reeves officiating.

The family will receive friends after 11 a.m.  Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Pleasant Union General Baptist Church, 5529 Deerlick Rd., Lewisburg.
