Aarah Lee Harlan, 86, of North Walnut Street, Adairville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017 at her home. She was a Dickson County, Tenn. native, born Feb. 18, 1931 to the late Harlon D. Lampley and Ora Hall Lampley. She was a homemaker, foster parent and member of Adairville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Harlan. 

She is survived by her son ~ Joe M. Harlan and wife Linda ~ Russellville; her daughters ~ Sandra Blick and husband Arthur Ray ~ Columbus, Kan., Wanda Carol Ross and husband Marvin, Susan Adler, and Jane Johnson ~ all of Russellville; her brothers ~ Jerry Lampley ~ Dickson, Tenn. and Mike Lampley ~ Columbus, Md.; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services for Aarah Lee Harlan will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Jay Stratton and Bro. Michael Edwards officiating with burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.  

Visitation at the funeral home will be held Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until the service hour of 10.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the donor’s favorite charity.
