Helen P. Gardner, 80, of Dunmor, died on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at her residence.
She was born Friday, March 13, 1936, the daughter of the late Herman Porter and Ruby Abbott Porter of Beaver Dam. She was the wife of James E. Gardner of Dunmor.
She was a homemaker and a member of Woodland Baptist Church in Greenville.
Also surviving are her sons, Jimmy Gardner of Henderson, Scotty Gardner of Browder, Marty Gardner of Trenton, and Bobby Gardner of Auburn; her daughters, Peggy Gardner of Indianapolis and Pam Dimmick of North Augusta, S.C.; her brothers, Walter Porter and Keith Porter, both of Beaver Dam; her sisters, Jeanetta Nance of Dixon, Carrie DeArmond of Shepherdsville and Jo Ann Ashby of Hartford; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in the Gardner Farm Cemetery, Dunmor.
Visitation will be after noon on Wednesday, March 8, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, at Price Funeral Home, Inc. with Bro. Charlie Jones officiating.
