Mary Evelyn DeArmond Hunt, 87, of Dunmor, died on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at the Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville.
She was born Sunday, Dec. 8, 1929 in Dunmor, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Shelby DeArmond and the late Nell Collier DeArmond. She was the wife of James Hunt Sr. of Dunmor, who survives.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her son, David Malcolm Hunt -(Wanda) of Russellville; her daughter, Rev. Regina Hunt Norris -(William) of Currie, N.C.; her brother, Adrian DeArmond of Dunmor; her sisters, Luida Padgett of New Albany, Ind., Judy Grayson of Shelbyville, and Janie Bogard of Jeffersonville, Ind.; her grandchildren; Michael Bradshaw -(Lanette), Timothy Bradshaw and Jonathan Bradshaw -(Gisselle) all of Rose Hill, N.C., Dianna Hunt and Matthew Hunt, both of Georgetown, Ind.; her great-grandchildren, Christopher James Bradshaw, Bailey Grace Bradshaw and Seth Daniel Bradshaw, all of Rose Hill, and Daniel Sanchez Hunt and Elizabeth Ann Hunt, both of Georgetown.
She was predeceased by her son, James Daniel Hunt Jr.; her brothers, Austin DeArmond and David Brentin DeArmond, and her sister, Nina Young.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, with Rev. Regina (Hunt) Norris officiating. Interment will be in New Hebron-Hunt Cemetery, Muhlenberg County.
The family will receive friends after 1 on Monday, March 20, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg.
