Charles Phillips ‘Phil’ Barber, 67 of Russellville, died on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
He was born Sunday, Feb. 12, 1950, the son of the late Charles Barber and the late Dorine Phillips Barber.
He had been a bagger at Houchens in Russelville for years and was an alumnus of Russellville High School.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at Maple Grove Cemetery in Russellville.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon on Friday, March 24, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg.
He is survived by his cousins: Jane Phillips Kelly of Frankfort, Susan Jane Dickinson of Danville, Sally Ray Vincent of Bowling Green, Edward Morris McReynolds of Homosassa, Fla., Ruth Grayson of Adairville, Joe Phillips of Chattanooga, Ben Phillips of Lewisburg, Barry Phillips of Cape Coral, Fla., Charles and Chris Phillips of Russellville, Brian Phillips of Chattanooga, and Raenell Phillips Schroering of Crestwood.
