Marion Kemp Mallory, 88, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, March 29th, 2017 at Alive Hospice of Madison, Tenn. Her funeral service was held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Russellville.
Mrs. Mallory was a Logan County native, born Dec. 7, 1928 to the late Lloyd Crewdson and Mary Frances Kemp. She married James Edward Mallory in 1948 and raised three loving sons. She was a member of the Homemakers and First Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking, genealogy, and Kentucky and Logan County history.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Crewdson and Mary Frances Kemp; her brothers, L.C., Kenneth, and James; her son, Alan; and her husband of 63 years.
She is survived by her sons, Mack Mallory of Russellville and Edward Mallory of Cane Ridge, Tenn.; her granddaughter, Monica Mallory Felch (Edward) of Charleston, S. C.; her great-grandchildren, Malcolm and Lillie Felch: her brothers, Tom Kemp and Bill Kemp of Russellville and Wayne Kemp of Dunmor; her sisters, Sue Kunkle of Wichita and Jerlyne Starks of Atlanta, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she loved dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alive Hospice, Madison, Tennessee.
