Carroll Wayne (C.W.) ‘Pete’ Thompson, 81, of Glasgow, died on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Glasgow State Nursing Facility in Glasgow.
He was born Friday, Jan. 31, 1936 in Greenville, the son of the late Ulie Thompson and the late Zoda McPherson Thompson. He was the husband of the late Dorothea Sogn Thompson.
He was a former plant manager at Ames Corp. and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his sons, Tim Thompson -(Patty) of Cave City, Randy Thompson -(Shelley) of Clay City, Ill., Michael Thompson of Dexter City, Ohio, and Scott Thompson - (Brenda) of Elizabeth, W.V.; his daughters, Stephanie Stack of Caldwell, Ohio and Stacey Stahlschmidt -(Jerry) of Brighton, Ill.; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 3 p.m. on Friday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg. Interment will be in McPherson Cemetery, Todd County.
The family will receive friends after 10 a.m. on Friday, April 7, at Price Funeral Home.
