Herman England Sr., 84, of Adairville, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017 at his home. He was a Logan County native, born Dec. 18, 1932 to the late Herman Charlie England and Beatrice Price England. He was a farmer and a member of the Emmanuel Apostolic Church where he was a Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gracie Ann England.
He is survived by his son ~ Junior England and wife Dottie ~ Adairville; his daughters ~ Donna Jean Davenport and husband Ronnie ~ Portland, and Gail Morrison and husband Lee ~ Adairville; his brother ~ James England ~ Adairville; 9 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren
Funeral services for Herman England Sr. will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Banks and Bro. Clint Barnes officiating with burial to follow in Russellville Memorial Gardens. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Wednesday, May 3, from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until the service hour of 2 p.m.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
