Alvin Dempsey Spivey, 77, of Lewisburg, died on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.
He was born Saturday, April 6, 1940 in Russellville, the son of the late Glenn Spivey and the late Vernie Cockreil Spivey. He was the husband of the late Carolyn Baugh Spivey.
He was a farmer.
Surviving are his sons, John Spivey -(Cindy) and Phillip Spivey -(Laura), both of Lewisburg; his daughter, Melissa Miller -(Charles) of Chandlers Chapel; his brothers, Jerry Spivey and Delmer Spivey, both of Russellville; his sisters, Mae Holder of Franklin, Allie White of Russellville, and Merrena Hyams of Russellville; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Lewisburg Cemetery with the Rev. Kenny Chyle officiating.
