Patsy Ruth Johnson Gibbs, 84, of Indianapolis, previously of Russellville, passed away on May 3, 2017. She was born on March 30, 1933 in Logan County, to the late Paul and Hattie Ward Johnson. Patsy was employed at Chevrolet Truck and Bus, working over 25 years and retiring in 1995 as an inspector. She was an avid square dancer and enjoyed organizing the GM Retirees luncheons.
Patsy is survived by her children Patty (Keith) Cooksey, Richard (Joni) Gibbs and Paula Amick; her brother, Rabon Johnson; her sisters, Irene (Gene) Gooch and Mary Lou Henson; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services for Patsy Johnson Gibbs were held Sunday, May 7, at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center.
Graveside service will be Saturday, May 13 at 1 p.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery, Russellville. Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home will be assisting with the local arrangements.
