Mildred Wilson, 89, of J. Anderson Road, Auburn, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at her home. She was a Logan County native, born May 18, 1927 to the late Jay Bilbrey and Nellie Bilyeu Bilbrey. She was the widow of the late Donald C. Wilson. She worked for M & H Cleaners and was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by her son ~ Ray Wilson and wife Phyllis ~ Auburn; her daughters ~ Patsy Hughes and husband Leon, and Pam ‘Jody’ Yates and husband Clyde ~ all of Auburn; her brothers~ Dallas Bilbrey and wife Phyllis ~ Russellville, and Woody Bilbrey ~ Elkton; her sister ~ Mardell Huskisson ~ Auburn; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laverne Yates and husband Fred, and also her son, Charles Wilson.
Funeral Services for Mildred Wilson will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, at Summers, Kirby & Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Buddy Lovell officiating with burial to follow in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until the service hour of 2 p.m.
Pallbearers: Keith Gibson, Earl Yates, Charles Yates, Leon Hughes, Phillip Thompson, Gary Huskisson and Mike Hines.
