Jason David Jenkins, 41, of Bedford, formerly of Russellville, passed away Friday June 2, 2017 at his home. He was a Logan County native, born Aug. 7, 1975 to the late Floyd David Jenkins and Barbara Jean Costellow of Bedford, Ky. He worked as an agent for 14 years at Kentucky Farm Bureau in Bedford. Jason was a member of the Rotary Club, the Bedford Masonic Lodge, and attended services at both Bedford Baptist Church and The Apostolic Pentecostal Church of the Living God.
He is survived by his companion ~ April Wood ~ Louisville; his mother ~ Barbara Costellow and companion Terry Lane ~ Bedford; his grandmother ~ Imogene Woodward Costellow ~ Russellville; his sons ~ Jason Michael Jenkins, Quinton James Jenkins and Ethon David Jenkins; her daughter ~ Caitlyn Lane Jenkins; her brother ~ Josh Jenkins ~ Lexington; and her sister ~ Abby Jenkins ~ Russellville.
There will be visitation at Ransdell Funeral home in Bedford from 4-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday June 7. There will also be visitation Thursday, June 8, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home from 4-8:00 p.m.
Funeral services for Jason David Jenkins will then be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, June 9, at Summers, Kirby and Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Wade and Bro. Jon Dunlap officiating with burial to follow in the Plainview Cemetery.
