Dorothy Mae Rosser, 87, of Sugarloaf Drive, Russellville, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. She was a Logan County native, born April 15, 1930 to the late John Douglas and Minnie Sheppard Douglas. She was a production worker at Emerson Electric Company and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Russellville.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years Thomas ‘Buck’ Rosser; her daughters ~ Connie Obenchain, Debbie York and husband Oscar, Donna Baugh and husband John ~ all of Russellville, and Lucy Boudris ~ Maryland; her son ~ Doug Chapman ~ Morgantown; her sister ~ Janie Belcher ~ Holly, Mich.; and her grandchildren ~ Brittany Flora ~ Nashville, Jonathan Baugh ~ Russellville, and Tommy Wilson ~ and Michael Wilson ~ Maryland.
Funeral services for Dorothy Mae Rosser will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 18, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Duff and Dr. Ron Wells officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Saturday, June 17, from 5-8 p.m., and again Sunday at 8 a.m. until the time of the service.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
