Missie Joines, 96, of Lewisburg, died on Thursday, July 13, at Kindred Nursing and Rehab in Greenville.
She was born Friday, May 13, 1921 in Todd County, the daughter of the late Bob Lear and the late Redonie Mayes Lear. She was the wife of the late Leslie Joines.
She was a homemaker and a member of Cliff Hill Cornerstone Baptist.
Surviving are her son, Charles Joines - (Venita) of Lewisburg; her daughter, Faydell Sweeney of Lewisburg; her brother, Harry Lear of Lewisburg; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.e. on Saturday at Price Funeral Home Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, with Bro. Autry Moore officiating. Interment will be in McPherson Cemetery, Todd County.
The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. on Friday, July 14, at Price Funeral Home.
