Mary Elizabeth Smith, 94, of Lewisburg, died on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville.
She was born Sunday, Sept. 24, 1922 in Lewisburg, the daughter of the late John Shoemaker and the late Jackie Dillon. She was the wife of the late Gordon Smith
She was a Home Extension Agent and a member of Elk Lick Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons, Charles Smith (Linda) of Manchester, Tenn., Glenn Smith (Patti) of Port St. Loucie, Fla. and Alan Smith (Rose) of Lewisburg; her sister, Alice Egbert of Belleville, Mich.; 7 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her brothers, George Robert Shoemaker, John Kenneth Shoemaker and Dillon Gardner Shoemaker.
A funeral service will be at 3 p.m. on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, with Rev. Dale Hanson officiating. Interment will be in Elk Lick Baptist Church Cemetery, Lewisburg.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the start of the funeral on Tuesday, July 25, at Price Funeral Home.
