Cody LaDane Yell, age 23 of Adairville, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 as a result of an auto accident in Sumner County, Tenn.. He was born in Springfield, Tenn on Jan. 28, 1991 to Troy Yell and Penny Holloway Robey. He worked at Unipress in Franklin. He was a member of Dripping Springs Baptist Church and had been a Logan County High School football player and was in ROTC.
He is survived by his father ~ Troy Yell ( Lisa ) ~ Russellville; his mother ~ Penny Robey ( A.C. ) ~ Adairville; his paternal grandparents ~ Noble and Sara Clark ~ Russellville; his maternal Grandmother ~ Jane Orndorff Holloway ~ Adairville; his brother ~ Will Robey ~ Adairville; his sisters ~ Ashton Yell ~ Adairville and Evelyn Yell and Carly Yell, both of Woodburn; his step-sister ~ Erin Graham ~ Russellville; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services for Cody LaDane Yell will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 17 at Crossroads Church with Bro. Alan Woodard officiating with burial in Greenwood cemetery in Adairville. Visitation at Crossroads Church will be Sunday, March 16 from 4-8:00 p.m. and Monday at the church from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at 2 p.m.
Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
