Harold Glenn Ashby, 79, of South Main Street, Lewisburg, died on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
He was born Thursday, June 9, 1938 in Lewisburg, the son of the late Nolvis Ashby and the late Thelma Murphy Jones. He was the husband of Betty Wilson Ashby, who survives.
He was a retired self-employed plumber with B & G Plumbing in Springfield.
He served in the Air Force during peace time.
Also surviving are his sons, Michael Ashby and Shane Ashby, both of Lewisburg; his daughters, Sheila Joly of Glasgow and Lisa Peart of Auburn; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg with Shane Ashby officiating. Interment will be in Dripping Springs Cemetery, Olmstead.
The family will receive friends after 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5, at Price Funeral Home.
