Elva Juanita Key, 94, of Lewisburg, died on Monday, Sept. 18, at her daughter's home in Lewisburg, Kentucky.
She was born Tuesday, July 17, 1923 in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of the late Clark Ulm and the late Irene Tamakio Ulm. She was the wife of the late Thurman O'Dell Key.
She was an insurance clerk at Dr. Roy McEndre's office.
She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, where she was a member of the WMU and a Sunday School teacher for over 60 years.
Surviving are her daughters, Melba Gibbs of Lewisburg, Sue Addison of Hacienda Heights, Cal., Elva Greer of Elkton and Irene Atkins of Clarksville, TN; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Clark Key, and her daughter, Barbara Statton.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Antioch Baptist Church, located at 7596 Duncan Ridge Road, Lewisburg, with Albert Clardy, Brian Jones. Tom Moody and Carmel Hoskins officiating. Interment will be in Gant Cemetery, Sharon Grove.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg.
