Lou Ann Stratton, 82, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017 at the Ahava HealthCare of Clarksville. She was a Robertson County, Tenn. native, born Oct. 10, 1934 to the late Taft West and Lilly Mae Pitts West. She worked for Creekwood Nursing Home for a number of years and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her sons, David Minnicks of Glasgow, Jackie Minnicks of Franklin, Jody Stratton and wife Anna of Auburn, and Steve Hardison, Artis Stratton and wife Renee, Billy Stratton and wife Marie, all of Russellville;her daughters, Patricia Walker of Cedar Grove, Tenn., Pamela Kemp of Bowling Green and Nancy Miller of Scottsville; 23 grandchildren, 232 great-granchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services for Lou Ann Stratton will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 8, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Davenport officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Saturday from 5- 8 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. until the time of the service.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to Hospice of Southern Kentucky or the Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
