Nancy Rust Kisselbaugh, 81, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017 at Logan Memorial Hospital. She was a Logan County native, born May 7, 1936 to the late Owen B. Rust and Katie Utley Rust. She worked as a former radio dispatcher for the Russellville Police Department and was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
After celebrating 64 years of marriage and spending just 18 days apart, she is now reunited with her husband, Morris, proving that their love was stronger than life itself. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Douglas and Edward Rust, and her sister, Carolyn Bray.
She is survived by her son, Morris Lynn Kisselbaugh and wife Jane of Russellville; her daughters, Donna Stuart of Russellville and Debbie Smith and husband Ricky of Virginia Beach, Va.; her sister, Linda Sherrod and husband Roger of Louisville; her brother, Thomas Dwight Rust and wife betty of Pickens, S.C.; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Nancy Rust Kisselbaugh will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Calvin Naylor officiating, with burial to follow in the Green Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Tuesday from 8 a.m. until the service time.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Monroe Carrell, Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
