William O. ‘Bill’ Link, 73, of Elm Street, Russellville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.  He was a Logan County native, born Jan. 17, 1944 to the late Robert Edwin ‘Ed’ Link and Lucille Hughes Link. He was a retired coal miner, welder and construction worker. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America and Whippoorwill Baptist Church.  

He was preceded in death by his wife, Erika ‘Rickey’ Link. 

He is survived by his son, Corey Link and wife Juli of Lewisburg; his daughter, Kelli Bivens and husband Tony of Russellville; his sisters, Becky Kemp and husband Tommy of Elizabethtown and Nancy Summers and husband Brent of Adairville; and several nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life for William O. ‘Bill’ Link will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 5-9 p.m. at the American Legion in Russellville with food and fellowship.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, Oct. 29, at Maple Grove Cemetery with Bro. Buddy Crabtree officiating.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the donor’s favorite charity.
