Willa Mae Wilson, 88, of the Green Ridge Community passed away Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 at the Hickory Hills Alzheimer’s Special Care Center in Hendersonville, Tenn. She was a Logan County native, born May 31, 1929 to the late Otis Holland and Bessie Mae Gant Holland. She worked as a sales associate for Sears and Roebuck in Russellville for many years and then in Avon Sales. She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Paul Wilson.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff Wilson and wife Jane of Gallatin, Tenn., Mike Wilson and his wife Leigh Ann of Midway and Mark Wilson and his wife Stacey of Simpsonville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Willa Mae Wilson will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Calvin Naylor and Bro. Jim Gifford officiating with burial to follow in Green Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Walnut Grove Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
