Duncan Mills Vick, 86, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017 at his home. He was a Logan County native, born Aug. 4, 1931 to the late Charles Campbell Vick and Amanda Belle Duncan Vick. He was employed with Lance Company for 30 years and was a member of New Union Baptist Church where he served as assistant Sunday School Director, the Grounds Committee, former Training Union Director of the youth, and assistant song leader.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Billie Jean Vick; his son, Stewart Vick of Dunmor; and his sister, Rena Belle Crenshaw of Louisville
Funeral services for Duncan Mills Vick will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Blick officiating with burial to follow in Belmont Cemetery in Allensville. Visitation at the funeral home will continue Tuesday from 10 a.m. and lasting until the service hour.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the New Union Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
