Emma Noe Holliday, 93, of Russellville, passed away Monday, Nov. 27, 2017 at her home. She was born in Norris City, Ill. on Oct. 18, 1924 to the late John Alex Sutton and Mary Newcomb Sutton. She managed her family farm for many years and was a member of Dripping Spring Baptist Church where she was past director of the WMU. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harris Holliday and Henry Noe Sr.
She is survived by her sons, Larry Noe and wife Jane of Russellville, Henry Noe Jr. and wife Alice of Madisonville, and Stephen Noe and wife Bebe of Olmstead; her daughters, Linda Chapman and husband Kenny of Russellville and Joyce Wright and husband Don of Olmstead; her sisters-in-law, Myrtle Sutton of Norris City, Ill., and Dorothy Williams of Olmstead; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Emma Noe Holliday will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Stacey and Bro. Jeff Noffsinger officiating with burial to follow in Dripping Spring Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Thursday from 5-8 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until the service hour.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to Dripping Spring Cemetery Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
