Brian Christian Long slipped into his Savior's loving arms on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017 in Hillside, Ill. after a long struggle with severe sleep apnea, chronic pain, and drug addiction. He was born in Franklin, Penn., the son of Samuel and Linda Malis Long of Lewisburg.
He graduated from high school in 1992 in Warren, Penn. and enlisted in the Air Force a year later. Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister, Victoria (Adam) Myhre of Wood Dale, Ill. and three nieces whom he loved dearly: Amelia Quinn, Hazel Myhre, and Ruby Myhre. He will be missed by his immediate family, his many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as his girlfriend, Susie Shipanik of Chicago Ridge, Ill. and close friend Laurie Deem of Scenery Hill, Penn.
