Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home
Mary L. Clayton, 58, of Whistletown Road, Olmstead, passed away Monday, Dec. 11, 2017 at her home. She was born Nov. 7, 1959 in Bowling Green, to the late Alonzo Clayton and Marie Rhode Clayton. She was a homemaker and served on the hospitality committee at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Marcus Sydnor, Mitchell Byars and Matthew Byars, all of Olmstead; her daughter, Brittany Lancaster of Olmstead; her brothers, Cliff Clatyon, Lee Brandshaw and David Clayton, all of Russellville, Jimmy Clayton and Anthony Clayton, both of Olmstead, Wayne Clayton of Indianapolis and Alonzo Clayton of Leesville, La.; Mary E, Clayton of Russellville, Betty Sydnor of Olmstead, Stella Cross of Allensville, Selina Garcia of Clarksville, Nadine Hibbett of Bowling Green, and Marie Davidson and Vernon Lee Davidson, both of Park City; and her five grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mary L. Clayton will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 18, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Butler and Rev. Perry Dillard officiating with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Monday from 10 a.m. until the service hour of 1.
