Mary Lou McEndre, 87, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017 at The Willows at Fritz Farm in Lexington. She was born in Maysville, on May 9, 1930 to the late John Albert Sininger and Anna Mary Wedding Sininger.
She was an Eastern Kentucky College graduate, where she received her degree in pre-med. She was a Bio Chemist, Social Worker with the State of Kentucky and a member of the United Methodist Temple. She also volunteered at Logan County and Logan Memorial Hospital.
She was survived by her daughters, Janie Wilhelmus and husband John of Nicholasville, Peggy Weldon and husband Mike of Russellville, and Nancy Powell and husband Randall of Greenville; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services for Mary Lou McEndre will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. John Wayne Sayer officiating with burial to follow in Red Oak Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Monday, Jan. 1, 2018 from 5-8 p.m, with a few words to be shared by Bro. John Weber at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume Tuesday morning from 8 a.m. until the time of the service at 11.
Memorial donations may be made to Girl Scouts of America. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
