Maurice L. Turner, 75, Glendale, Ariz. passed away at home on Jan. 21, 2018.
He was born on Oct. 26, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio to Charles and Nellie Turner. He was a retired printer and a longtime resident of Glendale, Ariz. with deep roots in Ohio and Kentucky. He was an avid coin collector and enjoyed spending time on his family farm in Kentucky.
He graduated high school in Ohio where he met the love of his life, Margie Turner, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Charles and Claude Turner.
He leaves behind his two sons Mark and Brian Turner and his five grandchildren Jesse, Joshua, Alana, Jenna and Jake Turner, as well as his sister Nancy Donaldson, and many other nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018 at Morton Whetstone Funeral Home in Vandalia, Ohio at 2 p.m. He will then be laid to rest on his family farm on Sunday, Feb. 4, at 2430 N. Logan School Road, Lewisburg, at 1 p.m.
