Freddie LeDonn Borders, 69, of Lewisburg, Kentucky died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at Kindred at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
He was born Thursday, Oct. 21, 1948, the son of the late Thurmon Borders and Marvine Meador Borders, who survives. He was the husband of Barbara Borders, who also survives.
He was a retired educator at Logan County High School.
He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, where he served as a Sunday School teacher, song leader, and a deacon for 32 years. He was also a member of the deGraffenreid Chorale.
In addition to his wife and mother, Freddie is survived by his son, Jeff Borders (Erin) of Lewisburg; his daughter, Stephannie Coursey (Patrick) of Lewisburg; his sisters, Frieda Pitchford (Mark) of Bowling Green and Connie Williams of Lewisburg; and six grandchildren, Ross, Neil, and Sloan Coursey, and Bailey, Bethany, and Emily Borders, all of Lewisburg.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, with Bro. Gene Bracken and Bro. Bob Barnes officiating. Interment will be in Elk Lick Baptist Church Cemetery, Lewisburg.
