Lelia Belle Kennedy, 81, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018 at Greenview Medical Center in Bowling Green,. She was a Logan County native, born January 11, 1937 to the late Ewing Samuel White and Martha Elizabeth Brady White.  She worked in the Dietary department at Logan Memorial Hospital and was a member of Kedron Church of Christ.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Glenn Kennedy Sr.

She is survived by her son, Samuel Howard Haines of Phoenix City, Ala.’ Her step-sons, Mike Kennedy and Brian Kennedy, both of Russellville, and Johnny Tucker of Guthrie; her daughters, Lynne Hartford and Paula Haines, both of Russellville, and Tina Haines of Flowery Branch, Ga.; her step-daughters, Linda Powell of Russellville, Marilyn Crowder and Debbie Markham, both of Elkton, and Debbie Joiner of Indianapolis; her brothers, Prentice White of Russellville and Don White of Lafayette, Tenn.; 32 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. 

The family has chosen cremation and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
