Marie Long, 70, of Olmstead’s Lickskillet community, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was a Logan County native, born Aug. 7, 1947 to the late Johnny Boisseau and Nancy Robertson Boisseau. She was a seamstress with Red Kap and a member of the Dripping Spring Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Long; her sons, Larry Wayne Long and wife Kim of Russellville and Johnny Long of Olmstead; her brothers, Eugene Boisseau, Larry Boisseau and James Boisseau, all of Olmstead; her sisters, Mary Murphy and Kathy Rager, both of Olmstead, Dorothy Murphy of Indianapolis, Brenda Abston of Adairville, and Vicky Hudnall of Russellville; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Marie Long will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 9, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Noffsinger officiating with burial to follow in Dripping Spring Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Thursday from 5-8 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until the service hour of 11.
