Carol Johnson, 72, of Auburn, passed away Monday, Feb. 19, 2018 at Logan Memorial Hospital. She was a Dayton, Ohio native, born Jan. 8, 1946 to the late Randall Craddock and Dorothy Hall Craddock. She was Co-Owner and Operator of Wayne’s Place in Dunmor, was a member of Dunmore Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Harry Johnson; her sons, Steven Johnson and wife Amanda of Bowling Green and Glenn Johnson and wife Jenny of Mont Belvieu, Texas; her daughters, Heather Dawson and her husband Joseph of Olmstead and Lesia Collins of Bowling Green; her sister-in-law, Joyce Craddock of Dayton; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Carol Johnson will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Skipworth officiating and burial to follow in the Auburn Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will continue Thursday from 8 a.m. until the service hour.
Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
