Nell Bruce Stuart, 97, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab in Russellville. She was born in Bowling Green on Nov. 5, 1920 to the late James E. Bruce and Attye Forsythe Bruce. She was a homemaker, the oldest member of the Russellville United Methodist Temple and an active member of the Russellville Chapter of the DAR.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ewing Stuart.
She is survived by her son, Jon Paul Stuart and wife Sarah of Russellville; her daughter, Susan Farmer of Cincinnati; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Nell Bruce Stuart will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, at the Russellville United Methodist Temple with Pastor Wayne Sayre officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at United Methodist Temple will be held Sunday from 1 p.m. until the service hour.
