Billy Glenn Coleman, 77, of Nashville, formerly of Olmstead, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He was a Logan County native, born July 1, 1940 to the late Roy Elmus Coleman Sr. and Mary Blanche Lamb Coleman. He worked in management for 48 years with Super Drive-Ins Inc. (SDI Markets) owned by Hoyte and Jane Eakes and attended Simpsonville United Methodist and First United Methodist Church of Hendersonville, Tenn.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Roy Elmus Coleman Jr., James Allen Coleman and Robert Earl Coleman. 

He is survived by his companion, Carol May of Simpsonville, S.C.; his sons, Glenn Coleman of Cottontown, Tenn. and Bobby Coleman of Smyrna, Tenn.; his daughter, Kim Coleman of Goodlettsville; and his brother, Roger Coleman of Adairville. 

Funeral services for Billy Glenn Coleman will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 28, with Brent Summers officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Sunday, May 27, from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
