Ron Timberlake, 72, of Rockfield, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at his home. He was born Oct. 24, 1945 in Commerce, Texas to the late C. Lester Timberlake and Cora Mable Gray Timberlake. He was a Vietnam Veteran with the Air Force and member of the United Methodist Temple.
He was associated with Rockwell and BTR Precision Die Casting from 1964 until 1998, at which time he was self-employed. He was also a former Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Auburn.
He is survived by his wife, Paul Timberlake; his daughters, Lisa Pits and husband Joe of Bowling Green; Jessica Ledington and husband Rob of Corbin; his brothers, Don Timberlake and Billy Timberlake, and a sister, Betty King, all of Texas; is grandchildren, Megan Nesbit, Sydney Ledington, Ty Pitts, Corey Ledington, Mary Lynn Pitts and Luke Ledington; and his great-granddaughter, Ruth Marie Nesbit.
A memorial service for Ron Timberlake will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Sayre and Rev. Adam Shourds officiating. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Tuesday from 3 p,m. until the time of the service.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hosparus Health of Barren River. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
